Honestly this is even better news to wake up to than the student loan decision
@stormshot-prime the kind of ghoul who does some freelance web design and while I would have no objection at all to doing a website for a gay wedding, there are an awful lot of things I wouldn't be willing to do a website for. Do you want me to do a website for the Westboro Baptist Church? Because I sure as heck don't want to but if religious freedom is not a good enough reason to decline work, then my half political / half they're-just-assholes reasons sure aren't going to hold up as a valid reason to say no. Or what about a site for someone who wants to proclaim that their religion states that women should be subservient to men? I have a very strong objection to that but if I'm not allowed to choose my clients, what choice would I have?
More likely though is that I would be asked to do a website for a political candidate I don't support (since political websites are actually what I do). Should I be compelled to create a website for Sheriff Joe Arpaio when he inevitably runs for something else? Should I be forced to create a site for a Democrat? Should my Democrat counterparts be forced to create a site for a Republican?
Let's take it another step. Should you be forced to accept a job offer from, say, the Heritage Foundation? How about a group that wants to make Christianity the official national religion and require everyone to partipate? What if you're not Christian (as I am not) and have an actual religious objection to that line of thinking?
I have the right to decline work from anyone I don't wish to work with for any reason or no reason. If I don't, then how can I even set my own compensation rates? If I'm not allowed to say no, does that mean I have to create a website for someone who only wants to pay half of what I consider reasonable? Or how about someone who doesn't want to pay me at all?
Should we all have to work for anyone who asks and accept any terms they want? At what point does this just become a new form of slavery?
But yeah obviously I just want to put gay people in death camps. Fuck off with that nonsense.
I kind of wish that instead of TMNT turning April into a teen all the time, they just gave her a teenage daughter. That way, we add some more girls to the cast, and we get to keep adult April.
I rather like this idea. Not bad.
With the landmark ruling — which falls in line with many of the SCOTUS justices' conservative stances — a precedent has now been set that in certain instances, U.S. businesses can legally deny their services to LGBTQ+ people under the First Amendment.
A final fuck you to the LGBTQ community at the end of Pride Month, courtesy of the Supreme Court.
Lol. Cope
Finally someone is telling the degenerates no.
Well of course it was pre-emptive! The law was unjust! We didn't need to let people live in fear until something happened. Anyway its a good time to post on my commissions page that I don't draw same sex pairings
The Supreme Court has been on a roll lately and this is fantastic. Anyways, reject pride and degeneracy and return to humility and fear of the Lord
This fascist was just crying about how rude people were about the sweatshop billionaire on the idiot submarine, but gleefully supports actual irl discrimination and bigotry because of their fairytale dogma and childlike fear. And they call other people degenerate
Watch em get big mad and well with crocodile tears the first time a maga fascist or christian cultist is denied a service cause someone calls em repugnant 🤡
Ok fed
Oh hey new Oxford comma wannabe rapist url to block
based based based
Lets make it clear since the fucking brands are starting to make accounts here . We have to cyberbully these corporations harder than anyone ever has before . They cannot stay here . We have to make the social media interns all kill themselves
No, because to the ghouls running the show, that just means that people are paying attention to their brands, and they can always find more social media interns to throw into the meat grinder. They need to be blocked and ignored.
